£10.99 For FF Tactics on iOS? Proof That Square Enix Have Lost It

Not content to be just inflating prices on the Nintendo DS, Square Enix will release their iOS-enhanced version of Final Fantasy Tactics for £10.99 this Thursday. Though £10.99 isn’t a huge amount to spend on a game per se, it is a lot to spend on an iPhone game especially when it isn’t universal. In other words the iPad version is yet to be released and goodness knows how much that’ll be.
It’s particularly galling when you realise that the original War of the Lions PSP release is available on PSN for £7.99. Somehow Square has managed to price itself out of the market before it’s highly anticipated title is out.
I think this is far too much for a ported PSP game, do you?

It’s a supposedly improved version, and obviously compared to other iOS titles, it seems massive, but that’s not a lot of money for a fully fledged game. There’s plenty of gameplay hours in it…
